Introduction

The basic principle of hydrocyclone is to separate the two-phase or multi-phase mixture of liquid-liquid, liquid-solid, liquid-gas and so on with a certain density under the function of centrifugal force. The mixed liquid is tangentially flowed into the cyclone with a certain pressure, and a high-speed rotating flow field is generated in the cylindrical cavity. The high density components in the mixture under the action of swirling flow along the axial downward movement along the radial outward movement in the reach of the force down along the wall along the wall, and from the bottom outlet, thus forming.

A hydrocyclone has two exits on the axis: the smaller on the bottom (underflow or reject) and larger at the top (overflow or accept). The underflow is generally the denser or thicker fraction, while the overflow is the lighter or more fluid fraction.
